sad to see it go, :-( valve covers, and oil cooler delete/repositioning are good ideas...would help to put the hcv somewhere accessible as well. How hard was it to put on the new valve covers?

Bump... auction ends in less than 3 hours. Unfortunately the car will probably be scrapped if I can't get what I want out of it, unless someone needs an engine, transmission, etc, then I may consider parting it out.

I'll get pics of the valve covers installed, the oil fill is tricky to get to, it's on the passenger side and is butted up to the firewall almost.

Didn't sell on eBay.... looking to part out now...I will not part it out unless someone wants a engine or transmission, mainly because I want to get rid of those first and recoup some of my loss.

I bet in bits and pieces you can get some amount of cash for it...

There is a lot of stuff you can see fast if you drop the prices down.

A lot of guys are doing part outs, I ask them for a simple part as say a speaker.. they tell me 30-40$...

Thats about the price of new after market one probably even better then the OEM one... and they end up keeping their parts...

now 10$ hell yeah I will take a few...

U see my point.

Well, I relisted it on eBay... and it sold. However the person screwed me over. The deposit was due this morning, and alas! Upon checking this morning, the buyer is "No longer a registered user on eBay."

Apparently this car wants me to keep it.

If anything, beware a Nannook2010 from Killeen, Texas!

Let me ask you guys, do you think $900 is a good price for the car the way it sits... or should I just finish it and drive it/sell it? I just don't want to go too low on the price, after all I put a LOT of money into the car already.

Yanked it off eBay... I decided I felt I was getting screwed selling it for $900 after putting $500-600 into it to finish it. I decided to spend the remaining $150-200 to finish it, so I can keep it and drive it. All I can say, is the car better not give me any trouble! I bought the car mainly because it was German!

Oh, and I'll also grab some pictures of the valve covers installed. It's very nice out today.

Need it gone... got it running only to find it has a blown head gasket. First $400 gets it. It's sitting in my driveway and my neighbors are complaining. Unfortunately, if it's not gone within the next week, it will be scrapped. Here's your chance to get a rust free Catera that needs some work.
