Hi all,

After an invite on the omegaowners forum in the UK from our good friend CateraMV6 I just joined up and thought I'd say hello.

Here's a few pictures of my "Vauxhall", the UK name for Opel, Omega.

The 'Elite' model comes with all the toys, but some nast (in my opinion) wood effect trim:

And as it is now with carbon fibre effect trims

Nice to meet you 'all', well once you're all joined up anyway.

Best of luck with the new venture and if you ever fancy saying hello to us, we're based in the UK, but have members worldwide, then we're at http://www.omegaowners.com

WOw that car looks stunning, I love the color and the wheels on it, and the interior is sick... I would kill to have a dark interior like that.

Now what did those wheels come from?
I have the Astra WHeels on mine but the ones you have are much nicer...

Thanks buddy,

The wheels are Vauxhall/Opel Vectra or Signum 'VXR' wheels from 2006; sometimes referred to as 'Snowflakes'. They are 8.5J x 19" with an offset of ET45. To counteract the increased offset (inward setting) frm the original 17" wheels which had ET38 (7mm less), they have the Eibach pro 50mm per axle spacers on the rear (same as yours? or Elvin's) and 32mm per axle spacers on the front. For the front you need longer (50mm thread) wheel bolts, whilst on the rear you don't as they are essentially hub extensions.

The next step is to make the rear lights the same as the Catera, with a little help from a good friend Very Happy, as this will look very unusual on this side of the pond and I prefer the LED's. I won't be losing the European spoiler and won't be going for the full width brake LED though; this will keep the change more subtle and unique.

looks great! It's so ironic how on your side of the pond the custom choice is the catera, and over here we go for the Opel look. On that note, i really like your black out grill. trade? haha. I also love the exterior color. What is it called?

Was looking at this ride, and i happen to like those wheels a whole lot...

Wish we could buy them here... if that were the case I would have 2 pairs of them.
