Hello everybody. Got a 97 catera with 80,000mi. Car runs amazing.I'm looking to do some suspension mods, maybe lower it 1.5 in.
Probably put a chip in the motor and replace intake. Any suggestions on intake that will bolt up.

Welcome. For answers to most of your questions read my overview.

Sorry but no performance chips for the Catera. The ones for the Omega won't work. Different CPUs. The ones for the Catera on ebay are a fraud. K&N makes an intake kit for the Catera and it's on ebay. Not a big power hit but it gives the engine a wicked howl.

Besides this forum there's one on Yahoo and another on a Cadillac site.

Welcome Jeff,
Koni makes some lowered coilovers for our cars if youre willing to give up the rear air suspension. Ebay and some other sites have Eibach springs that will drop you about an inch. Thats probably the easiest stuff to find. If you want to put in some Angel Eyes search 'catera euro' on ebay...Ill just warn you im already bumping ground where i live and im at the stock height with good shocks....your best bet is to get a set of headlights and give them a custom look. Its really easy to do, a few people have done it on here.

Welcome! I would follow Elvins advise, not too much you can do to the engine but suspension and other mods are highly possible.
