Body Control Module???
Hey guys, got yet another problem...the radio and interior lights dont work when the ignition is on. but when the car is off before the door is opened they both work fine. All the research Ive been doing indicates its probably a bad BCM. Which makes sense since Ive replace the K134 already, and the trunk and gas door work fine.
I guess my question is this: First is that the problem? Second whats the solution? I see they have a few on ebay for a decent price, but im guessing since its a computer you probably can just swap and go...you probably have to have it programmed by the dealer right? Also, where is it?

Re: Body Control Module???
I had it where my radio would cut out and wont come back for 20-30min at a time...
Checked the K134 relay and found few broken solders and I fixed them... all issues went away... take a look at it before you replace anything else..
Also check all fuses...

Re: Body Control Module???
actually it was neither...had the k134 problem when i first got the car and got a new one and fixed it. wasnt the BCM either, so i took it to the dealer and they said the aux water pump was leaking onto a wire which was shorting everything out. I still have yet to find this wire, but they have been trustworthy before so I believe them. Either way they fixed it so I dont really care. Wish I had more info for you guys tho.

Re: Body Control Module???
Well who knows where the water was going but its possible that this could have been happening, those guys fix a lot of strange problems so id imagine they would know to look for those funky unexplained situations..
