MILCAT"S Catera Wisconsin
Hi All! Thanks to MV6 for our own forum. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and trading tips and info! Here's a couple of shots before and after yesterday's cabriolet removal. Just had to go. I still have some work to do buffing, patching screw holes and painting but, I think it's well worth the change.

Welcome to our humble home Dave, I like the sunroof, the rest of the car is in excellent shape!

Re: MILCAT"S Catera Wisconsin
Thanks Yomincarr. I did the headlights too.
Before
After
I'll probably do the calipers black when I get the chance. They are pretty nasty looking.

Hi Dave, welcome to the club. I think the car looks great, and I dont ever recall seeing one of the new ones with that kind of a top on it... none the less looks very unique.
I think it will look even better when we line it up next to a few more cateras!!!

The lights look great dave, did you use toothpaste or one of the headlight restoration kits? Its good to see someone else with the non-HID headlights...I was beginning to think I was the only one.

I used the 3M kit. It came out nicely but I may even do it again.

Re: MILCAT"S Catera Wisconsin
Today, i took off the window tint. I really don't care for it too much and it is illegal. Don't need to give the police reason to pull me over. Except now they can see that I don't have a seat belt on. I like the stock windows so you can see the interior and it brightens up the car overall. It looks kinda more like the new forum header. I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

Re: MILCAT"S Catera Wisconsin
looking forward to it, i used that same 3M kit! The results were amazing, and i can actually see where im going now. :-) I wish they would allow dark tint down here...the summers are pretty hot and that leather tends to bake your butt, so it makes it pretty uncomfortable to drive in the summer.
