OTC 6687 Timing Tool Set - Available for Rent Dec. 1st!
Recently I just purchased a brand new OTC 6687 Timing tool kit... it was more than I wanted to pay, but I needed it, as well as other people needing it that can't afford to buy a kit or take their Catera to a shop.
Don't worry about renting from me, I have a 100% feedback from eBay (BuckeyeBill88), and I don't aim to screw people as I have been screwed far too much in the past.
My fee is FAR less than anyone else's, mainly because I want to help people that are stuck in the same situation I was in.
I will also include the required Allen wrench needed to adjust the tensioner.
Fee will be a $90.00 Deposit (Yes $90, not $300!) + $12.00 shipping = $102.00 for 15 days, meaning the 15 days starts on the day you receive it (I will track the shipment), and ends 15 days after that, meaning the kit HAS to be postmarked on the 15th day. If not, you lose $5 a day for every day you keep it over the 15 days. On the 30th day, you will NOT be reimbursed, and the tool is yours to keep.
When the kit is returned to me within the 15 day period and is in good condition, you will get back your $90.00 Deposit.
The only thing you have to pay is the shipping costs!
Rental is only available in the US!
The kit you will be renting is the OTC 6687, as seen here -

This kit will work on ANY GM 3.0 & 3.2 54* DOHC 24V V6.
Kit will be available beginning December 1st. If you do not agree to my terms, please do not rent it from me.
Thanks,
-William

It's not as bad as it may seem. Once you have the tool kit and a Service manual or Omegaowners.com Cambelt DVD, you are good to go. I did mine in under an hour with the timing setup already disassembled.
