my 453HP 1995 GMC Seirra 1500

ok here is my old 1995 GMC Seirra 1500











mod list:
swapped in LS1
compotion cams
stroked .83 over
ported heads
ported bodys
cold air intake
lightend crank
runnin a 125 shot NOS
dynoed at 452.93hp

loved it to death until i sold it for my catera.

Damn 450hp with those skinny tires you probably had hard times hooking up with that thing. I like the stealthy older truck look, no one will ever suspect that it has that sort of power under that hood.

My Pontiac Pariesienne only had a 2 barrel carter carb on it which was more than adequate.

But we fitted a 2 to 4 barrel adapter plate and a 4 barrel holley and if the kick down was used to drop in into 2nd it just used to break traction and light the back wheels up.

I tried the car on all sizes of tyres, found that 215/60 VR 15 P6's suited it well. Rather than the standard 78 profile it used to wallow about on.

It had monroe air shox on, so I fitted a pair of truck tyres on it at least 255's and tried a pair of 275 Pirelie P7's on in but would still break traction on kick down into 2nd even at 80mph. Handling was marvelous on the low profiles, handled like a go kart, but was diabolical handling on the truck tyes.
