My Beatiful 2001 Catera Sport

Post by elvin315 on 5/23/2008, 19:28

My 2001 Catera Sport when I bought her in Tampa.

The headlights are fogged from years of Florida sun.

I wasn't crazy about the wing at first but it grew on me.

Winter in Buffalo. New 17 inch Sport Edition F6 Wheels carry Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires.

Added the black mesh grille and Cadillac badge to make her pop. The old grille was too
traditional Cadillac for me. Looks like a V Series now. Polished the headlights too.

An Irmscher airdam and Steinmetz sideskirts are waiting for paint money. I'll post pictures then.

I couldn't afford Steinmetz wheels so I bought these. I like
them. Especially the $89 closeout price from TireRack.

That car is almost like my car's twin brother... although I have a feeling pretty soon it will look nothing like mine, I hear he is doing a bunch of other mods, we will just have to wait and see...

You heard wrong my friend. I prefer a low key look. Less is more. True, I have an airdam and side skirts in the wings waiting for the money to have them painted and mounted but they aren't exactly Fast & Furious racerboy looking add-ons. Since the Catera is so rare here I doubt anyone besides other owners would notice the changes. And I'm not too sure about them. FYI: I bought the bodywork from Carlovincriminals on eBay. Ironically the picture on their site is more what your car would look like with them than mine.

Any word on the body work?

Has it been painted yet?
